Literally, a watershed is a turning point - a decisive moment when everything changes and, for the four musicians, key players in a new generation of jazz in France, this band has a brand new feeling. With each member playing equal roles of leader and sideman, improvisation is at the forefront and trust abounds.
Their combined resumé is as impressive as it is diverse having performed with musicians including Carla Bley, Brad Mehldau, ONJ, Lee Konitz, Lionel Loueke, Vincent Peirani, Anne Paceo, Milk Coffee & Sugar, Michel Legrand, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mark Turner, Randy Brecker and Steve Lehman.
In 2015 they founded the Shed Music collective to house their individual and collective projects.
